There was strong chemical spray smell for the whole unit, means unit was dirty, but owner didn't want to do real clean up, just spray some chemical detergent stuff. The smell was strong enough to wake me up during middle of the night. Air conditioning was not working either, couldn't do cool or hot, only fan working, but there was bad smelly air come out from fan. That matched reason for strong chemical smell. Also there was noise at night from other units. It was unpleasant experience for us to stay here. Not recommended.

Clean. Good check in helpful staff. Cabin was very basic with curtains that didnt cover windows. Quiet area. Basic facilities for kitchenette. Very limited dishes for cooking etc . Very hard bed and no where to put bags when travelling. Compared to other accommodation we have travelled in north island this was expensive for what was supplied. Average only.

Great location. Family friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Long walk to the toilet block unless you walk over waterlogged grass. Toilet block clean but could do with some updating. No mirror in the cabin. Mattress on the bunk bed so thin you could feel each slat through all the blankets and the mattress.
