Great location but a sad tired hotel. Clean enough but pretty much everything was very dated and Of poor quality.

The Rex hotel never changes & is still like I remember from family holidays years ago. It does need some TLC & modernising, but maybe the clientele are happy with its old fashioned charm??

The hotel is in a good location, although parking is on the road and a bit hit and miss for finding a space. Hotel is clean and staff were very helpful. It is a bit dated, but still practical. My only issue was the door on the shower didn’t close properly, so leaked whilst showering.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, clean rooms and lovely food could fine no faults, even had a nice chat with one of the cleaning ladys who grew up where i live. Would highly recommend a stay 😀

Despite active maintenance, a slightly worn appearance. Not too well soundproofing between roms and floors. Squeaky floors (under carpet). Well cleaned room and bathroom. The staff was very attentive, nice and service-minded.
