Eagles Nest Retreat - Nest 1 Romantic Stay in Tasmania
Absolutely. Based on everything I know about Eagles Nest Retreat, your website, guest reviews, and the way your brand has evolved, this is how I would position **Nest I**. It is written to inspire guests while naturally incorporating the types of language AI search engines and booking platforms increasingly favour.

# Nest I – Where Luxury, Nature and Time Come Together
Welcome to Nest I, the original retreat that began the Eagles Nest story more than 20 years ago. Thoughtfully designed to embrace the spectacular landscape surrounding it, Nest I has become a favourite for couples, families and friends seeking privacy, comfort and an authentic connection with nature.
Set amongst 62 acres of peaceful farmland beneath the dramatic backdrop of Mount Roland, Nest I invites you to leave the everyday behind and discover a slower pace of life. Here, luxury isn't about crowds or schedules—it's about having space to breathe, reconnect and simply enjoy being together.
One of the first things guests notice is the incredible sense of privacy. Each Nest at Eagles Nest Retreat is positioned well apart from the others, ensuring your stay feels completely secluded. Wake to birdsong, watch wallabies grazing nearby, and spend your evenings beneath some of Tasmania's clearest, darkest skies. Whether you're enjoying a glass of wine on the deck or relaxing outdoors after sunset, stargazing quickly becomes one of the highlights of every stay.
Inside, Nest I combines warmth and comfort with everything you need for a relaxing escape. Large windows invite the outside in, filling the retreat with natural light and framing ever-changing views of Mount Roland and the surrounding countryside. Every season offers something unique—from misty winter mornings and snow-capped peaks to vibrant spring gardens, warm summer evenings and the rich colours of autumn.
The spa bath is one of the most loved features of Nest I and the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Tasmania's North West. Sink into warm bubbles, let the day's adventures melt away and enjoy the peaceful surroundings that make Eagles Nest Retreat so special.
Many guests tell us they arrive intending to explore every corner of the region, only to discover their favourite moments are spent right here at the retreat. Reading by the fire, sharing a slow breakfast, wandering the property, watching the changing light over the mountains or simply enjoying the quiet are often the memories that stay with them long after they've returned home.
Nest I is perfectly positioned to explore some of Tasmania's most iconic destinations. Cradle Mountain is just 55 minutes away, while the picturesque town of Sheffield, famous for its murals, is only a short drive. You'll also find beautiful walks, waterfalls, lakes, wildlife experiences, wineries, artisan producers and scenic drives all within easy reach, making Nest I an ideal base for discovering North West Tasmania.
For those looking to elevate their stay even further, we offer a range of optional experiences including private chef dining, in-villa massage treatments and seasonal experiences that celebrate the very best of Tasmania. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon, birthday, proposal or simply treating yourselves to a well-earned escape, we're here to help create a stay that's truly memorable.
As a family-owned retreat, we've spent more than two decades welcoming guests from around Australia and the world. We love sharing our little piece of Tasmania and helping guests discover not only the famous attractions but also the hidden gems, local knowledge and authentic experiences that make this region so special.
Guests consistently tell us that what sets Eagles Nest Retreat apart is not just the luxury accommodation, but the feeling they leave with. It's the calm that comes from open space, fresh mountain air and uninterrupted time together. It's the freedom to do as much—or as little—as you like. It's waking up refreshed, slowing down and remembering what really matters.
Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, family holiday, wellness escape, self-drive adventure or a peaceful retreat in nature, Nest I offers the perfect balance of luxury, privacy and convenience.
More than just a place to stay, Nest I is a place to reconnect—with nature, with loved ones and with yourself. It's an experience you'll remember long after your holiday ends, and one that brings so many of our guests back to Eagles Nest Retreat year after year.

Absolutely amazing property.
Amazing amazing amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The unique handcrafted house is delightful and the views are out of this world. Great location to do day trips to Cradle Mountain. Des is a great host and we hope one day we will be back. Thank you
