Cozy Cottage Short Stay, a small two-bedroom house, provides snug accommodations for your stay in the Wessington Springs area. Sleeps 4 comfortably... up to 6 if needed. Enjoy the backyard with a gorgeous view of the Wessington Hills and a short walk to Shakespeare Garden. We take good care of our guests! Wess Springs has an active Main Street with full grocery store, coffee shop, flower and gifts, restaurants. Springs is nestled in the Wessington Hills and has a beautiful free City Park which is gorgeous in all seasons with a Nature Trail, swimming, sledding and ice skating when weather cooperates. Our Cozy Cottage is a perfect weekend get-away in a wonderful community. 40 minutes from Huron, 50 minutes from Mitchell, 1hr 45min from Sioux Falls.

Perfect
A buddy and I stopped in town for a couple days of hunting this was the perfect location. Tons of public land close to hunt on. House had everything we needed. It’s a old home and rustic which makes it even cooler! I’m sure as more people stay they will update things.

All you need!
Small house in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood... Owners live next door! We didn't spend a lot of time at the house as we were in the Wessington Springs area for hunting, but it certainly had everything that we needed when we were there. Dogs are welcome which was a HUGE plus!

SD State Fair Cabin in Wessington Springs SD
House was a lot older than it looked in pictures. Needed updates on electrical outlets which the owner has already started doing 😀 No central air. But owner had a portable air conditioner going. Due to the excessive heat they bought another floor unit which helped greatly!! Overall it was a good place to stay to get to Huron which was only about 20-25 mins. I did like the nastolgic atmosphere of the home. Just a bit underwhelmed as the pictures appeared as a remodeled home. Also, the town was very nice & friendly, had dinner & breakfast at the local restaurant. Good food & good service 😀 Overall a nice stay. 😀
