Didn’t like that reception was never manned and had to ring a bell or phone them to get anyone to show up. No phone in the room. Also as they supply tea and coffee sachets I would expect milk to be provided. Wifi was hard to receive as reception was so low. Also a tidy up outside with all the leaves etc at doorway old mattresses piled up outside the building was not a great look.

The only thing i was confused about was when i got told it was check out time but i actually had another night and thankfully i could just login to my account to show proof. That was abit weird

Probably the worst Motel I have stayed in. 1. Booked for 2 but cutlery 1 knife only 2. One dinner plate only. 3 Tried to contact reception but advised to phone a specified number - this an Answer Service covering many motels and couldn't understand my request. 4. TV wouldn't work. Again phoned Answer Service to be advised at 7.00pm nobody available to remidy my request. 5.In morning reception would not accept that me problems had not been solved.\ and passed the blame on the cleaners On arrival we were not shown to our motel but just pointed to Unit 5. Anyone staying here in future insist on being shown to their unit and check everything with Motel staff in attendance. They will not see us there ever again

The room wasn't spotless but clean enough. We arrived very tired and late at night and the man helping us was understanding and friendly and made checking in easy. The bathroom was spacious, so was the room.

Great staff member who came to open reception for me after 11 pm. Great friendly communication prior to arrival. I had room 5 and it was perfectly clean and comfortable. Good bed and shower and quiet neighborhood. Very convenient position when coming from the late ferry then travelling up north. It was appropriate for the price.

Went to check in on arrival. Reception was closed...sign on door states "Im away from Reception ring the bell or call this number" Number is answered by a random person who asks where you are ringing from. I tell them there is another customer thats been waiting for 30 minutes. The other customer could'nt understand the person on the phone. They then gave me a code for the lockbox to hand the keys out. I told them I wanted to talk to Reception..and when would they be back, I was told 4pm. Nobody turned up, the same sign was up for 2 days. How ridiculous to have no one onsight. What must our overseas visitors think. Great kiwi hospitality....NOT.

NEVER STAY HERE!! This place has falsely advertised themselves, the photos are definitely nor reflective of the actual place, it is absolutely disgusting. I booked for a week and only stayed one night, as it was so filthy. I gave notice the next morning and then they wouldn’t refund me the rest of the week even though I was happy to pay for the first night. There is no staff on site , all communication is over the phone. there is a number to call on the reception door. Policy is that they need 24 hours notice when cancelling so they needed to refund the rest of the booking to me. They were rude and horrible people to deal with, so be warned, you will not get a refund in accordance with policy from this place. I wish I had read the reviews before booking so perhaps this is my own fault. I just wanted others to know to steer clear of this motel, it’s not what it looks like, READ THE REVIEWS!

I legitimately don’t understand what everyone else was going off about. Yes, this place needs a bit of a spruce up as some of it is a bit dated, and yes, it probably needs a proper deep-clean just to go over some of the harder to reach places but overall, it is clean, tidy, smells fine, and has oodles of space. This is coming from someone who has stayed in 10 different accommodations on this trip alone.
