Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Empfang war herzlich und die Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Mit zwei Jungs ist für unsere Ferienwohnungen das Auswahlkriterium drei getrennte Schlafzimmer, damit beide ihren eigenen Bereich haben. Und natürlich – ganz wichtig – Wlan. Hier attestierten beide beste Verbindung. Der Jahreszeit geschuldet haben wir den Balkon nicht genutzt, von dem man einen schönen Ausblick über Waxweiler und der Umgebung hat. Die großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer haben diesen aber auch geboten. Waxweiler ist als kleiner Ort in der Nähe von Bitburg ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Trier, dem Müllerthal bei Echternach, Vianden und Clerf (Luxemburger Seite). Eine Brauereibesichtigung bei Bitburger durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Leider war die Zeit zu kurz für noch mehr.
