I expected better from a Wyndham hotel

The elevator was out of service. We did not find that out until we arrived for check in. “Out of order” signs posted on elevator door and on a door leading to outside from in the stairwell. Had to walk to the 3rd floor with our bags. Fans were plugged up with cords on the floor leading to the stairwell. Air was stagnant in our room. A roach was crawling on the nightstand next to the bed. Several repairs were observed to be needed throughout building. I did appreciate that the location of the hotel was close to where I was visiting.

Checked in and moved rooms 3xs due to ac leaking and the carpet being soaked. The elevators were broke and we were informed before so that wasn’t a “issue” but the halls/ stairway was muggy and slippery al post fell twice. Manager was nice in getting us a room with ac but it was an inconvenience. Breakfast was edible but wouldn’t be our first choice.

Horrible absolutely disgusting, dirtiest hotel I’ve ever visited. My trip was supposed to be 4 nights, however after receiving notice day of check in their elevator was down with no ground level rooms available I decided to stay with family that lives near by due to lack of ADA accommodations. They refused to give me a refund. Hotel lobby was filthy, and had a strange odor glad I didn’t stay after seeing the lobby!

Fine with staying here. Door wouldn’t lock properly so we had to leave un locked. We only stayed one night during the bad storms. So we just locked the interior and it was okay. Didn’t seem unsafe to leave the door accessible. Nobody was there. But should be noted. Pool was really nice and so was the front desk lady. Especially since we brought our dogs
