I was disappointed with my experience at this resort. After a long day of travelling, I arrived on time for check-in, only to be left waiting 2 hours past the scheduled check-in time. After finally gaining access to the room, we were left with no electricity. There was no clear communication, no meaningful apology, and no sense of urgency to resolve the issue.
When you book accommodation, the minimum expectation is that your room will be ready on time with electricity, unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. The delay caused unnecessary inconvenience and set a negative tone for the first few days of the stay.
The day after sending a couple of emails to management expressing my concerns and requesting compensation, I was compensated appropriately for the inconvenience.
I hope the resort improves its organisation and customer service so future guests aren’t left waiting around like I was.
