The location suited our purposes well. Unfortunately we had to cut our time onsite short, due to a family matter, but we will be back to finish our trip soon. We have stayed at this location a few times since it first opened.

Our door didn't fully seal and this property is right on the main hwy. There was a lot of road noise and the light that came from around the door was very bright early in the morning

The location of this property is awesome. With some more attention to cleanliness and if they owners repaired, renovated and fixed up the old and tired rooms this property could be really good! I hard a hard time with the amount of cigarette smell and butts everywhere.

The front desk attendant was very helpful and friendly, a plus was an assortment of complimentary cookies upon check in. I had to do a little cleaning before using the bathroom, that was the only minor inconvenience. Beautiful views. Quiet at night. Great surveillance. Recommend and would stay again.

Not great

The first front clerk was great, the second (when we checked out) not so much. The jacuzzi tub ledge had dirt and old water marks (from cups) on it, there was a cute glycerine soap there that was used by someone previous (it was wrapped with cellophane but the cellophane was gone in parts). The bathroom sink was clogged, even to wash our hands it filled up. I told the clerk when checking out and she wasn't phased, didn't say anything but "I'll let the cleaner know". I wasn't going to let her know about anything else with her disinterested attitude. The shower was barely enough to fit one person in (definitely can't bend over if you drop your soap) The bed was absolutely atrocious! Anytime someone moved it made noise. It was so hard and the springs poked. FYI - the couch was more comfortable to sleep on. It's a loud place, not from the train in the back nor the traffic out front but, from the workers who stay there (a large greyhound type bus full). The gravel parking lot (out back where the bus parked) stirred up a lot of dust from traffic so having a window/deck door open, or sitting on the private deck, wasn't possible. The deck furniture was coated in dirt.

Needs a refresh

Very run down hotel. Water leaks in the washroom ceiling (that have been there a while), definitely needs an update or refresh.
