This place was wonderful! We stayed two nights and loved it. The breakfast is pretty basic and there is no parking on-site which makes loading and unloading a bit difficult. But great location and cool building. The bar is fun as well.

Cedar Falls is a surprisingly robust community and the Blackhawk Hotel is a hidden gem! The staff is engaging and generous and go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of and heard. This is an historic inn, so the premises are burnished with years of use, which I think just adds to its charm. Main Street is dotted with several unique eating, drinking and shopping establishments and our nightcap at the Bar Winslow in the hotel was the perfect spot for our too-short stay in Cedar Falls.
