The hotel was fine. But the next time we stay there, we ask for a room NOT facing the main street. Could hear all the cars driving past.

The environment was a very relaxed atmosphere. Had some issues with maintaining my original check in time due to Airport issues, but the staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating, which helped me feel at ease, and made my stay much better.

Very convenient to Union Market area, which was our destination. Very clean; staff was friendly. Small rooms, but typical for a city. A/C was limited by thermostat to 64F. This led to a stuffy environment with no airflow, which made it hard to sleep well.

For just a overnighter the room was perfect. The size didn't really affect us because it was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable which are important factors for us when we stay at hotels. There are some things that would've made it perfect and wouldn't take much effort or costly. The towels were stiff and thin and we like a nice fluffy comforter and that's it! Other than that, we would stay there again and tell friends as well.

Hotel Nell is very cute with a rich history & the staff we interacted with was so kind but the parking situation is expensive & nightmarish. The staff seems a little confused on where you can park & when & there is an entire lot unused attached to the building which was incredibly frustrating. Our first night there was a drying fan on the floor in the hallway, I believe for a leak in another room, inconvenient but not at all an issue.. the second night the fan was no longer there & you could hear someone breathe too loud in the room next door. Wouldn’t likely stay again but mainly for the conveniences of parking & privacy, not because of quality or service.

This staff was awesome. The air conditioner in the room didn't go below 74 which kind of sucked. Parking is extra which is awful.

Overall the experience was good. Check in was a breeze. I wish I had more knowledge at exactly how little parking there actually was for the hotel. Having to park and walk 20mins wasn't ideal without that knowledge. There were humidifiers everywhere that were quite loud and able to be heard in the rooms. Overall the noise wasn't too much for us but closer rooms may have had a harder time. The air conditioning vent in our room leaked condensation our entire stay. Lastly, and unsure if this has to do with the hotel or if it's separate but we were ignored heavily our first night trying to eat at the rooftop bar, we ended up leaving and finding a restaurant elsewhere. The second night we were seated and were taken care of but we're unaware that we should have made a reservation. Overall I would say it was cute and a comfortable stay, just minor things that would make me less likely to stay again but not refuse to give it a second try.
