Nice room ! Cluster to get into ! Downloading app for key not good . Tv has roku that sucks! Cut off foot ball game right about 5 min of the end of game ! The Samsung remote needs to be in the room! The tech is ok but way to much trouble for most people.

Very secure building. Clean, reasonably stocked. Really close to the Nationals stadium. The only downside, no checking in instructions since there is no front desk. I would stay here again.

They gave us the wrong room. There was a Trojan condom under the sofa couch. The remote was lost we called about 5 times for 3 hours for someone to come up to our to help us out no one came, the lady even snickered on the phone because she knew wasnt going to come. Finally she sent a guy to help. By this time we didn’t even want it.

The property is excellent. Modern building and amenities. Room has a FULL kitchen and even a washer and dryer. The gym is large, clean and excellently stocked with modern equipment. The only note is to have better signage and communication when arriving to check in. It can be a bit confusing. The Kastle app is apparently not as necessary as the pre check-in instructions lead you to beleive.

Beautiful Clean Room - Great View - Very Confusing

Pros: The room was beautiful & clean, the view was beautiful. Cons: this is a “pop-up” hotel mingled with residential building. Appears to be new construction. It was absolutely confusing to even find where to park or where to check in. It took us about an hour to figure out where to go. We even called in advance days before and arranged parking but no QR code was ever provided. We called several times for assistance but it was hit or miss getting anyone on the phone. Hotel needs better marking/signage. There is about 5 different hotels/housing areas, etc all using different names in the same building, all sharing the same parking garage.

Its quiet because most of the units are empty Its in a food desert. No blackout shades so sleep is not restful. People smoking that stuff, so the stench travels through hvac system. They are too lazy to go outside to smoke.

We had a wonderful stay at Placemaker Buzzard in Washington, DC! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless—contactless check-in and check-out made everything super convenient with no need for manual intervention. We booked a 1BHK unit, which was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The apartment had all the essential in-house amenities, making it feel like a home away from home. The TV had a great selection of streaming options, which we really appreciated during our downtime. A special shout-out to the front desk staff on the night shift, who kindly helped us figure out the coffee machine near the entrance—much appreciated! Also, Samantha was extremely helpful during our check-out and made sure everything went smoothly. The surrounding area is clean, quiet, and felt very safe. While in-house parking was a bit on the pricier side, we found that street parking was usually available and convenient. The location is excellent, with all major attractions within a 2-mile radius, making it easy to explore DC without much hassle. After comparing many places, Placemaker turned out to be one of the most economical options without compromising on comfort or quality. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city—great value for money, and we’ll definitely be back!
