We got upgraded at check in to a lovely big, clean room with a balcony - and we were able to check in quite early, which was appreciated. We had trouble getting hot water so called guest relations - they sent an engineer who not only helped, but also knew lots of history about the property. It was a delight to talk with him! The sauna was great and we enjoyed the robes and slippers provided. Every staff member was warm and friendly. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous and the events (carolers, Santa, hot chocolate and cookies) made it a festive and fun weekend. Many thanks.

Large spacious hotel lobby and rooms. Loved that the outdoor pool was still open in September, and the lobby is so welcoming and smells great. Staff was very friendly, valet was super fast and the area was quiet and safe. Would definitely stay here again. It’s an easy ride to downtown or local universities, but away from the hustle and bustle.

We stayed at the Shoreham prior to the pandemic. Although we loved the hotel, the rooms were in need of updating. I’m happy to report that the hotel has gone through a remodel and the room are much improved. The hotel is located in Woodley Park which is a more residential area. But, it's a short metro ride (or about a 4 mile walk) to the mall. Plus, there are many restaurants close by. We love Open City for breakfast. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s a throw back to days gone by and it’s particularly beautiful during the holiday season. I highly recommend the Omni Shoreham.
