An eh place to stay

Long check in line with only one person at the desk. There were three other employees but none of them helped check people in. They were busy in the backroom. The bed was hard as a rock. The restaurant is mediacore. The plus side is that it is very close to the national mall, walking distance. But dont expect a luxury stay. They also charge for parking.

I’m not a fussy traveler by no means but my three day stay there was ok at best … no mention of 59 dollars a night parking there when I booked which was shocking.. the staff is excellent minus the short gal who checked me in on Tuesday afternoon the 23rd. She wasn’t pleasant and I had to deal with her one more time.. she isn’t horrible but basically does the minimum to satisfy her job requirements.. almost like I inconveniencey her when I had questions.. like buddy just check in and go.. fortunately the tall dark man in a suit was absolutely wonderful and honestly saved a horrible review..

Amazing location, close to many museums and national sites. The shower had very little water pressure and only sometimes would give hot water after fiddling a lot with the faucet. But they were prompt to respond and fix it when we reported it.

Excellent location for seeing all of the DC historical sites room is very centrally located and walking distance to most everything. The only complaint I had of the hotel is the shower. First off the water is extremely hot like too hot that it will burn you. The second issue with the shower is you have to open the door away from the handle to turn it on so when you turn the shower on the water comes down on you and get you wet with cold water, which doesn’t feel good.

The hotel was perfectly located for seeing DC. Rick the was fantastic helping us with tours and sightseeing. All of the staff was welcoming and super helpful. Planning another visit next year.
