It’s a nice hotel, staff is friendly and helpful. Was disappointed that we had no regular coffee in our room, or available, just decaf. It would have been nice to have some type of comfortable chair in our king sized kitchenette room. The only seating is one desk chair. Kitchen area needs some type of lighting in it, there was none at all.

The room was clean, smelled fresh and was appealing. I was told that parking for guests will be one but I was charged another. This was deducted from the deposit. The thermostat was set too low on 2/23/2025 as it was about 30 degrees in upper NW DC. We had to request blankets and to have the maintenance to unlock the thermostat to 70 just to knock off the deadly chill felt in the large/spacious and opened room...I don't recommend you stay there due to hidden fees and poor communications about these additional fees unless it is the closest you can get to your destination, as mine. Expedia did warn of additional charges. Next time I will heed the warning. The staff was attentive. We did tip maintenance for delivering the blankets. He made three trips to the Room due to the room temperature.

We always stay at Glover Park Hotel when visiting our son who attends American. It is a great spot. Restaurant is good. Rooms are nice. It is not overly fancy but it get's it done very well. We have always been happy with our stay.

Just ok, attention needed

The main lobby and attached restaurant were nicely maintained. The actual room needed attention. Lamp switches and shades were unclean with debris and visible buildup. Tiling around the shower was discolored and rusted or missing. The peep hole in the door was closed in or covered up which caused concern as I was a solo traveler and I actually put a chair against the door for added protection.

Over the hotel is fine. But the most i' d like its Dining area. So tasty food. The employees in there are so friendly.
