Rude Company- Dont Stay Here

This is the worst place to stay for extended living. They have an office for the building, but not for guest. The people you have to call are all foreigners in another country working remotely. Sometimes the calls go through, sometimes it doesnt. Good luck if you need help getting into your room. No one on the premises can help you. The key system is sketchy at best. The billing department is very rude. They will take your money then ask you to jump through more hoops all the while you are locked out of your room. The billing department has no Customer Service skills and speaks to you as if they are doing you a favor. They dont treat a paying customer , let alone a human being. The overall staff is fine. The rooms are not worth the price and the way the building fluctuate prices, dont waste your time. I had high hopes for this location, but I regret ever wasting my money here.

This property was amazing! Just like the pictures, a lot of space and clean. You definitely have to get a cute balcony room. The location was great a quick walk to all different types of restaurants around & night bars. Parking lot available & some street parking if lucky. I will definitely be booking again. This apartment-hotel concept is really a great one and as someone who needs to prepare all my own meals while traveling, I need this. But these people have some serious kinks to work out. I always have to wash my linens, pillows and towels because they are just not always clean! The people next door and down the halls are often loud (especially on weekends) and smoking weed constantly. And I just don’t want to smell weed constanlty. The onsite folks are pretty great! But the Global Luxury Living and Churchill staff are barely responsive and have no customer loyalty. It’s sad. Because I really like staying here once I get settled in. But the settling in process is long and tedious and requires a lot of legwork by the customer. Not to mention, when they jack something up or don’t have their ducks in a row, and a customer is upset (because they are locked out or stuck); they act like the customer is overreacting. Very low tactics. Makes me sad because this could be a great solution for so many people! And it is, if you get lucky and they’ve got it together…but, they usually don’t. And I do not like being left out in the cold, traveling alone in DC and then chastised because of it. No thank you!

I do not recommend

I took my time to reply bc I didn’t want to mix emotions with facts & wanted to be thoughtful and give my honest feed back. While I was genuinely impressed with the apartment itself, my initial experience was deeply marred by exceptionally poor staff and customer service. The difficulty I encountered simply trying to access my room was unacceptable. Multiple calls to various numbers went unanswered, leaving me stranded and frustrated. My attempts to seek assistance in the lobby were met with indifference; one staff member explicitly stated they didn't work for the property, she worked for the bigger company “REVEL”while another was hesitant to help. I was eventually directed to a third-floor office, which was difficult to locate and poorly marked. There, my entirely valid concerns about the lack of phone responsiveness were denied *inspite having proof of me calling multiple times* I was met with hostility, rather than empathy. As a first-time visitor & resident to Washington, D.C., and also someone exhausted from travel, I found this complete lack of support particularly distressing. Basic information, such as how to use the keyless entry system, should be clearly communicated to every guest. In addition, the office's location and signage need significant improvement to ensure accessibility. Also my unit was missing essential cleaning supplies, specifically a broom.

My room was still being cleaned at 5:00 despite being told it would be available at 3:45. After going out for the evening, I returned and my cod wouldn’t work in the door. It took at least 45 minutes to get a call back from the mgmt company (after the front desk person and I called multiple times), to download an app, and then sign up for it. With all the communication about check-in, at least 3 emails, they should just give you the app in advance so you don’t have to use a long code with a difficult system. The next morning the elevator didn’t work and had to walk to another bank of elevators on the other side of the building. The mattress was of very poor quality. All the furniture was uncomfortable and seemed really cheap. It was clean, and the extra space is nice, but I’m just going to stick with regular hotels from here on unless I’m traveling with my family.

The place is very convenient if you want to spend time within the CBD. We had a terrible experience with the Colonial Parking which is connected to the building.

I had issues with the electronic locks and ended up locked out for a period of our stay. We extended our stay and that proved to be very challenging for the management company to process. It was fine but they were not able to be flexible and staff on site was not able to assist with issues like getting locked out because codes expired or other problems with the electronic locks.
