Stayed here for five nights on vacation. Hotel is in the process of being refurbished. Unfortunately the room next to ours was being worked on during our stay, so it was quite noisy during the day. Our room was the old style and was quite outdated, but the refreshed rooms look very nice.

If you need internet don't stay here

Pros: Friendly staff, great location
Cons: Internet abysmal, 5 mins on and at least 15 mins off, complained for 8 days and never improved.
Location: Location is great, easy walkng distance to many shops and restaurants
The internet connection was dreadful. I complained every day over my 8 day stay. I spoke with staff, management and technicians, and it never improved. 5 minutes on and at least 15 minutes off. Extremely frustrating and with deadlines to meet and international Skype calls to make, very stressful.

Best nights sleep I've ever had!

Room was much bigger than I was expecting! My bed was a king, full sized kitchen and spacious desk. Basically an appartment rather than a hotel. Also the best ️Bed I've ever slept in. Location was perfect, right near the waterfront and shopping strip. Wish I could have stayed longer than one night

Pros: Appreciated the kitchen, free wi-fi, breakfast and laundry facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Leaking tap was fixed promptly.
Cons: Nothing apart from 15 minute walking distance to supermarket
Location: Tranquil, Close to everything
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Affordable; Service: Go the extra mile, problems fixed promptly; Cleanliness: Pleasant; Close to Washington Harbour and C&O towpath. Good restaurants nearby

Pros: Our room was very homely and comfortable. A haven after a huge day of sightseeing.
Cons: Rooms are a little old. I personally preferred it that way as it had charm and character
Location: Just right
Facilities: Nice ; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional; Cleanliness: Spotless; short bus ride to everything, museums, white house etc, lots of upscale shopping just up the street. Nice restaurants nearby and a ciinema
