Extension cord running behind radiator, multiple surge protectors with 3-4 appliances plugged into them, on missing smoke detector; didn’t give me a safe feeling.

I highly recommend avoiding this property. I stayed for a week with my mother and daughter, and it was a terrible experience. We faced constant plumbing and electrical issues: the kitchen power went out twice, the shower was scalding hot because the cold water didn't work, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The host's plumber came out twice but failed to fix anything, and I even had to provide video proof because the host seemed skeptical. On top of that, the host regularly failed to clean up after his dog, leaving feces right by the entrance door and garden path. My daughter even stepped in it. Apologies don't make up for a complete lack of basic maintenance and cleanliness. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
