All the staff members were so nice and friendly. The hotel was very inviting and comfortable. Our room was very clean and comfortable as well. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. Theres a gym but we didnt use it.

Tiny, clean, modern room, and affordable nightly rate. They get your money in other ways. As others have said, the hotel is an overly modern Japanese capsule style hotel. Every inch of the room is used to provide the essentials, and every control you might want is on the iPad. We had no trouble with this and the room itself was stylish and met our basic needs admirably. This is great for a single traveler, with no car and good budget for incidentals and restaurant dining, avoid if on a budget and plan on having a car with you.

If you can’t handle the cold (like me!) or are sensitive to temperature, you might want to consider another place, especially in winter. CitizenM is beautiful, and the location is super convenient. Everything is nearby, and the airport is only about 15 minutes away. The rooms are tiny, as most people know, but for solo travel they’re perfectly fine. BUT… something that wasn’t disclosed beforehand is that no matter what you do on the iPad, you can’t actually control the AC/heat. My room was freezing. You could feel the cold air constantly, and the only way to be comfortable was to stay under two blankets without letting your hands or face out, otherwise you’d freeze. I ended up getting sick from how cold it was. I was told all rooms are the same and 75°F is the only temperature available. Unfortunately, it snowed the day I arrived, so I was doomed from the start. The staff was very nice, but I personally wouldn’t stay here during winter.
