Jamel and Farman were helpful. The breakfast at the cafe was good. Stayed in the king suite which had a nice river view. However, this trip was for a special birthday coming in from out of town, and I called the evening before to ask about an early check-in or any birthday amenities that they offered and the girl who answered the front desk said there was nothing they could do. I called the next morning and Jamel informed me that they had an amenities form I could fill out, but an early check-in was still not possible. You’d have to provide your own decorations and a fruit plate cost $75… lol. After paying $500 for one night, I don’t see the value in that. When we dropped the car off for valet, they said they would text us - never did. When I called the front desk to retrieve the car, she said we would need to respond to the text. I had to go outside of the building to call for the car, then when we were back in the car, we got a text thanking us for using valet, so they clearly had the correct phone number. Will definitely be choosing another hotel on the Wharf next time.
