The a/c was powerful, the room was clean, but I didn't realize from the pictures how very small and spare the room would be.
I wouldn't say the pictures were misleading, but I didn't realize that I would have to literally squeeze between the bed and the wall, for example. The TV is mounted very high on the wall, making it uncomfortable to watch from the bed, because if it were mounted lower down, it would be impossible to pass it to reach the second bed.
I was also not expecting only one towel per person, with no face cloth or hand towel, and one pillow per person.
That said, the location was very convenient for bus trips into the center of Oxford, and there were some good cafes and restaurants nearby -- and an M&S Food. And the beds were very comfortable.
We ended up here in part because I was having trouble finding hotels that offered twin beds at all. And I could see coming back even now that I know what to expect. I don't know that prices were especially good, but we visited during Oxford University's open days, which combined with tourist season probably put a premium on accommodations during our visit.
