We had to switch rooms due to the amount of dust on the furniture and carpet fluff on the floor, and the paint smell in the room. They moved us to an equally poor room which also had filthy windows and questionable bathroom cleanliness. Reception did not answer the phone and did not respond to the message we left. We had to go down to the desk after waiting 40 mins for someone to come back to us. Would never stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Realm in an Executive Floor room. The room had everything needed, although Chromecast did not effectively function. Free movies were good though. Great sunrise and sunsets on the balcony. The pool and sauna were fantastic.

Convenient location. Probably the most comfortable beds in Canberra. Don’t stay there on a Friday or Saturday night as the noise above the pub and function rooms is terrible. Loud music until midnight. Might be quieter at the opposite end of the building. Apartments across the road much quieter.

Good quality 4 star hotel, excellent location, free parking and breakfast but the room and the pool are not 5 star. The promotional photography on the website and marketing saying this is the premier 5 star hotel in canberra sets a very high expectation expecting a W hotel/ shangrila or intercontinental but not up to that standard My room had no shower gel, air vents are full of dust, and no tv remote. Air con is old, cannot set temp lower than 22. Reception / service from bibi and kuldi were warm and efficient resolved most issues. Renovated 7-8 yrs ago based on an old hostel Breakfast is in their main high end restaurant. Excellent decor and selection Gym is nice but open only until 8pm Would stay again but would not pay premium prices.
