Vacations in the Rheingau Monument near the beach - Hotel Schwan (with charging station)

Spend your vacation on the premises of a building whose origins date back to 1560. In 1671 the restaurant "Zum golden Engel" was mentioned for the first time and in this restaurant with its unique, listed wood paneling an exclusive holiday apartment was set up, which is only 100 meters from the Wallufer bathing beach.

In 2017 the house was completely renovated, the technology is up to date. Installed in the counter there is a modern kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, extractor hood and all accessories to create a fancy menu.

Enjoy the feeling of sitting in your private restaurant or relaxing with a book in the oversized reading chair.

In the two meter wide bed you have plenty of space for your relaxation. We are happy to provide families with small children with a travel cot.

A modern bathroom with a triangular tub and shower, and a separate toilet leave nothing to be desired. If you want to wash yourself, you have a washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board.

WLAN is of course in this 100 sqm luxury suite, as is a covered parking space for your car. There is a lockable courtyard for your bicycles.

Great property - Great location

This was a last minute find and was great. I thought the pictures were for a lobby or something, not the apartment. I was happily wrong! Everything was as described and better. Sven met us and gave a history of the hotel - very interesting. Awesome location just off the Rhein provided Great walks and relaxation. Close enough to walk to train station. There is even a great little bakery we walked to each morning. I highly recommend!

Elegant and spacious

Hotel is lovely, well-furnished, eclectic, and quaint. Woodworking is spectacular. Located a block from the river with two parks in both directions down the road, plus a wine garden and ice cream vending machine. Restaurants, bakery and banks within walking distance. Well-supplied kitchen with dishwasher, but no microwave. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The only slight drawbacks were that parking was in a narrow alley with a tricky turn, and the view out the front window was the plain side of a building across the street, and the dumpster they were using for renovations. We had a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return.

Comfortable and convenient

This was our second time staying at this apartment. Super location direkt am Rhein, roomy apartment, with equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities as well. Great for short or longer stay in the Rheingau. We hope to return.

Amazing Vacation Apartment with Historic Charm

We loved staying at the historic Hotel Schwan for our recent vacation in the Rheingau region of Germany. The apartment was fully furnished with everything we needed for our stay. When you enter the apartment, you feel as if you are stepping back in time with the historic wood paneling. The intricate carvings and detail of the woodwork are captivating. Even though the woodwork is historic, the apartment has been updated with modern kitchen and appliances, wifi, air conditioning and updated bathrooms. The large soaking tub is perfect after a long day of hiking. Sven was an exceptional host making sure everything was perfect upon our arrival, helping us with some site-seeing plans and providing off-street parking for our car. The location of Hotel Schwan is perfect for spending time in the Rheingau region. Across the street are several wine gardens with delicious wine and a few meters further is the beautiful Rhein river. We hiked along the tow path to Eltville and enjoyed a day exploring the city and castle. A short ride to Rudesheim and we were able to take the cable car up to the Germania monument and hike through the Niederwald. There are numerous wineries and vineyard to explore and we enjoyed being there for freshly produced Federweisser. The location is also perfect for day trips to Wiesbaden, Frankfurt or Heidelberg. We plan to return to the Hotel Schwan for our next visit to the Rheingau region.

Wir waren vollständig zufrieden mit unserer Ferienwohnung und können sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Wohnung war sauber, gut ausgestattet und genau wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Die Lage war ideal, und wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt.Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Traumhafte Wohnung. Gemütliches Ambiente in einem historisch hervorragendem restaurierten Haus. Allein die Schlüsselübergabe durch den Besitzer war beeindruckend. Dabei erzählte er viel interessantes zur Geschichte, der Restauration des Gebäudes sowie gab's viele gute Tipps für Unternehmungen bzw. wo man gute Küche genießen kann. Lage und Umgebung waren perfekt für uns. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir haben eine sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung vorgefunden: viel Geschirr, jede Menge Gläser, scharfe Messer (sind aus Erfahrung häufig nicht vorhanden), Lappen, Geschirrspültabs, Duschzeug, Haarwäsche, Handseife, Waschmittel (haben wir für die 5 Tage nicht benötigt), Gewürze, Tee, … Ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen. Sehr gemütlich und gleich am Rheinpfad nach Eltville. Man kann mit dem Hund gleich losspazieren. Ein guter Bäcker und das Weinfässchen für einen guten Riesling am Abend auch fußläufig erreichbar. Die Beschreibung und die Bilder geben alles richtig wieder.
