Explore the untouched nature and the fragrant forests on extensive tours. In between you can always discover the Harzer Rote Höhenvieh, an old Harz breed of cattle that grazes on the meadows along the way. The forest outdoor pool in Walkenried then provides refreshment. In late summer and autumn you should of course not forget the mushroom basket on your tours to collect porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and co. for a delicious meal. In winter, cross-country skiers get their money's worth on the numerous trails in the snow-covered landscape.
