The old hotel which badly needs an upgrade. But it is priced accordingly, with a major discount. Thin walls, wholes in the doors, noisy toilets, narrow beds. Symbolic free breakfast with undrinkable coffee. A strong tobacco smell when a neighbor had a cigarette two rooms down the corridor. But the same great view of the ocean from every room. Plenty of complementary parking (at least during the off-season).

Front desk staff seemed unwelcoming and one of them seemed bothered to check us in. She couldn’t check us out because the computer was “down.” Didn’t seem to care that our coffee maker was broken and that we told them our room wreaked of pot every time the A/C fan turned on.

Visiting from Washington State we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of our room. The lobby was cluttered but the front desk personnel were polite and helpful. Parking, exercise room with a view, and breakfast were all included i. The room rate which was price point perfect.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

Don’t judge a book by its cover! It doesn’t look so great from the outside but the room was very clean and newly updated bathroom also! We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay. Any staff we encountered was friendly and breakfast was great as well! Noise from the street at night was our only complaint but the hotel can’t help that.
