Stay somewhere else!
Stayed on a road trip to Texas, very tired worn out hotel. There are holes in carpets, doors and it had a bad smell. Only stayed here because they allow dogs.

Property appears nice but was not very clean. Room was small but fine for a night just traveling through. First when we pulled back covers on the bed there was long hairs all over the sheet, the bathroom sink, bath, and floors had hair so you could tell it wasn’t swept or cleaned very well. The next morning at 8 am the door to our room opens and it’s the cleaning lady coming in without knocking as I’m standing there completely nude as I was about to get dressed and other people were walking down the hallway could see me as well. Completely humiliated! My husband told the front staff who proceeded to argue at first with him that his staff would never come in without knocking. As we left the cleaning lady did stop us and apologize and told us she messed up reading the room numbers on cleaning log. She felt bad and her apology was sincere.

Bathtub would not drain. Sink was rusty. No coffee packets provided for the type of coffee pot in the room. TV remote buttons didn't work except for the volume, Overall, a very small room, in a hotel that needs updating and remodeling. Language/ communication problem at check in and check out. Did not see a breakfast. I would not stay here again. I probably will avoid any Microtel, assuming they are all this tiny.

It was a nonsmoking room but the Deodorant cover-up smell was way too potent, overwhelming every minute inside till the end. The trash was not emptied from previous occupants, feminine products and all, lots of hair in tub and sink. Shower drain backed up bringing chunky nasty water floating at your feet.Bed was comfy though and decent b-fast.
