Paradores - accommodation in Vinaros

Honestly, just no. First, they put us in an adjacent building that felt more like an apartment. When we arrived, the room had a half-drunk bottle of water left in it and the toilet seal had been ripped open. They fixed it, which is fine. But then we discovered that all the spa facilities — which were nice, except for the pretty but lukewarm "hot" tub — cost an extra 10 euros per day. Towels were 4 euros. Our room had a kitchen, apparently, but it was locked; you could access it with a deposit for 2.50 euros a day. And the rooftop pool that sold us on the place was closed for the season. So much nickel-and-diming. Not interested in staying there again.

The apartment is a great location, clean, quiet and amazing view. Everyone we met from the taxi drivers to people around town made us feel, like we were locals. The community with the property's management was excellent.

This is a location for FAMILIES with young children, tons of activities for the kids and adults alike. The room itself was quite old and A/C on full blast felt like a breeze during a very hot evening.
