Accommodation is scarce in the heart of Vimeiro. Make sure you book months in advance, as there is only 1 hotel within 10 kilometres.

Wotif recommends staying at the Hotel Muchacho, as it's the only place near all the main areas.

The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa.
