The renowned Monasterio de Yuste, where Holy Roman Emperor Charles V spent his final years, is just a short drive away. Take a refreshing dip in the crystalline natural pools of the Garganta de Cuartos — a beloved local summer spot — or discover the region's celebrated Pimentón de La Vera, a Protected Designation of Origin smoked paprika.
