We were in Villach for a brief stopover between long-distance trains. In that context, the location could not have been better. The reception and our room were spotless, and the receptionist gave us a great recommendation for somewhere to eat.

We travel when we can, and experience a wide variety of places. We have only just come across Harry’s. Location was important plus evening arrival and early start the next day. Everything was in place for this, so Harry’s will see us again! Their mid-Europe locations tend mostly to suit if you have an Austrian destination or place where short stay fits well. Villach is a very important place, and has been since I first visited 65 years ago.

Reception staff were outstanding. A couple of minor points were no desks on the room, having a low table made any kind of computer work difficult. Also at Breakfast two thing were irritating, the porridge was dreadful, you should have a bowl of porridge not a slice and they often ran out of thins at the weekend and did not replace them fruit for cereal being the most obvious. Overall though really impressed and now my favoured hotel chain in Austria.
