Miserable

The room was small, the bathroom smaller than a motor home. Shower so small that it was difficult to take a proper shower. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Had to open door and window to get any relief and when we closed them, it radiated heat.

A good location to drive to the cave art locations

just basic accommodations. A bit dated but clean. A good stopping off point to see the cave art. Use the hotel directions. Don't put the address in google maps.

adequate, clean, good location, check in problem

the auto check in machine did not work for me, There was an error message then it became unresponsive. I had to call the emergency number, as the hotel is unattended late evening, and before long someone came who figured out I indeed had a reservation. It all worked out well after the initial scare.

Great location

Everything g was great once we'd got the confusion over booking sorted. I'd made mine online but my fellow traveller quoted another service which caused confusion. Very quickly sorted though. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were terrific, helpful, good humoured and quick! Just what you need after a long journey.

Economical option for visiting Les Eyzies Valley

Small but convenient and safe location for trips into the expensive Les Eyzies valley. Terrasson itself is also a lovely town though barely mentioned in the Rough Guide. Criticisms would be lack of air conditioning and restaurant being closed at weekends.

En arrivant j'ai dĂ» demander oĂč se trouvait l'accueil, une meilleure signalĂ©tique serait une bonne chose. Le personnel est agrĂ©able et souriant. La porte de la chambre se mettait en alarme lorsqu'elle restait ouverte ce qui pose un problĂšme le temps d' entrer ou sortir les bagages. La nuit a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs calme et le petit dĂ©jeuner trĂšs bien. Je reviendrai sĂ»rement.

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© installĂ©s Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la chaufferie donc trĂšs bruyant, le matin, beaucoup de bruit a cause des camions de linge. Lorsque j’ai rendu la carte de la chambre, l’hĂŽtesse n’a mĂȘme pas demandĂ© si sa Ă©tĂ©. L’hotel Moulin rouge semble bien mignon mais le cĂŽtĂ© petit dej est moins accueillant.
