Extremely clean apartment with beautiful ocean views. Clearly family friendly, and easy to walk to cafes and restaurants that also had ocean views. The neighborhood felt safe. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and good at communicating. In the future, it would be helpful to know when the cleaning person might be arriving during one's stay and to have a more choice about the timing if possible. Overall, wonderful place to be!

The location of this property is awesome. The view and close proximity to the beach and restaurants is perfect. The apartment is perfect for 3-4 people. Kitchen has the bare necessities. Access to the top balcony with plenty of seating make this property a 5! Will return.

The location is great, very close to the beach. The sea view from the dining room and bedroom is lovely. The apartment is well equipped. The roof terrace is the only outside space, it is lovely but you do share it with one other apartment.I think you could have a few different experiences staying in this apartment as we had a lot of outside noise from a family with children next door and there is a bar a few doors down. The noise from these didn’t really quieten until gone midnight. I think this is worth mentioning if you are coming to relax. The road right out front is very narrow, sometimes you can park and sometimes you have to park up the hill. Not a problem for us but could be for others.

Wonderful holiday home

We did love everything about Casa Valeria. However it would have been nice to be told in the information pack that the bed sheets and towels are not changed mid stay.If we'd known this we would have brought washing powder it is the 1st self catering property that we have stayed in that didn't do this.

Lovely, well-kept apartment in a beautiful quiet seaside town

We would recommend the Casa Valeria to anyone interested in a quiet vacation in the Algarve. The place is clearly well-kept and clean, under the care of Senhora Maria, and the owners are prompt to reply with any concerns. The rooftop patio has a nice view of the area, and the house is well-equipped to cook, and there were some beach items (umbrella, chair, children’s toys) on the first floor. The place is also situated in a great location, Burgau has a nice beach with few tourists, surrounded by many small restaurants (our favorite was “Love Burgau”). Short drive to Lagos, Sagres, and there is a nice hiking trail right beside the apartment that will take you to the neighbouring town of Luz in ~1.25 hrs.

Einfach toll!

Tolle Lage der Wohnung, netter kleiner Ort mit allem was man braucht, sehr gute Restaurants und Bars, relaxte Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Vermieter. Für uns war es ein toller Urlaub, auch unsere Jungs im Teenager-Alter fanden es dort klasse, auch ohne viel Drumherum. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Casa Valeria in Burgau. Der Blick aus dem Fenster aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zu Edith und Jens war sehr nett. Burgau ist ein kleiner charmanter Ort und wir würden wiederkommen.

Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen im Casa Valeria verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gut und vollständig ausgestattet und liegt perfekt im Ort. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Strand. Die Dachterrasse ist perfekt zum Frühstücken oder Abendessen mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Burgau hat viel zu bieten: tolle Restaurants, kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen aber schönen Strand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen…

Schöne Ferienwohnung nahe am Strand

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in der Casa Valeria verbracht. Das Haus liegt einer kleinen Strasse 100m vom Strand entfernt. Burgau ist ein kleines, typisches Dorf mit Mini Markt und einigen gemütlichen Restaurants mit sehr gutem Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Wohnung - auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Leider wurde ich während des Urlaubs krank und verbrachte entsprechend viel Zeit in der Wohnung. Die wunderschöne Aussicht, die guten Betten und die Ausstattung der Küche habe ich umso mehr geschätzt 😉 Die Wohnung war wunderbar.
