Great location if you’re planning to use this as your home base to visit all the sites near Vik. Clean rooms. Having breakfast included is a plus. I only wish there was a fridge and the shower water didn’t leak out cause of the design.

My partner and I loved our stay at Hotel Kria. Everything was clean, parking was easy, the breakfast was really good! We would definitely stay again. The northern lights wake up call was also a nice perk!

Clean, in a good location walking distance to restaurants, a grocery store, and the black sand beach. The breakfast buffet is decent and the drinks at the bar are very nice. For the price, I would have expected more amenities seen at similarly priced hotels in Iceland such as a gym or sauna.

Great location, fun hotel. This is our second stay here, and I imagine we'll stay here again should we pass through Vík. Dining is a bit pricey but not unreasonably so.

We stayed at Hótel Kría for just one night - the first night we flew into Iceland. By the time we got there we were exhausted (took a red eye from Boston, plus the dark drive to Vik and site seeing), so honestly, it's a bit of a blur. I remember the room being fine (view of parking lot) and bed comfortable, and dinner was good. Nice cocktails. The showstopper really was breakfast. I guess I didn't know what to expect but it was delicious and plentiful. Hot and warm items.

Excellent hotel, thoroughly enjoyed our time there

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kria, we stayed for 2 nights while we explored the south coast. The hotel was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. They offer a northern lights call which meant we saw the northern lights one night over the mountains behind the hotel, would recommend the Mountain View room. It’s also walking distance to a supermarket and a couple of food spots.
