You'll enjoy your own private entrance, fenced patio, dedicated parking space, and complete privacy inside the studio. Other areas of the property are home to PR Short Rentals' office, Isla Nena BioBay operations, several long- and short-term rental units, and our growing Monte Santo Aquaponics farm.

As our guest, you're also invited to enjoy a complimentary behind-the-scenes tour of our tropical aquaponics farm, where you'll discover how fish, freshwater prawns, and plants are grown together in a sustainable ecosystem. It's a unique local experience that most visitors to Vieques never get to see.

The studio is conveniently located just 7 minutes driving from the ferry terminal, Isabel II, and Antonio Rivera Rodríguez Airport, with restaurants, cafés, a bakery, convenience stores, and a gas station within walking distance. Gallito Beach is only about 4 minutes away by car, making it easy to explore the island from a comfortable and well-connected home base.

The vibe is laid-back and rural — visitors come for beaches, nature and slow-paced island life.

Most visitors rent a small car, jeep, UTV or golf cart; several local rental companies will meet you at the ferry or airport. Publicos (shared taxis) run on main routes (Isabel Segunda ↔ Esperanza) but will not reach many remote beaches — for those you’ll need a rental or private taxi. Taxis, tour operators and hotel shuttles are common for airport/ferry transfers and excursions (including Bio Bay tours). Expect narrow, two-lane roads and limited public transit.

One area of the property is currently being lightly improved as we continue creating new guest experiences. Any work is limited to daytime hours and does not involve heavy machinery.
