Unfortunately, the pictures do not match reality. For example, a coffee machine is shown in the standard rooms, but it is not actually there – you have to upgrade to get one. In addition, they charged 4 euros for a single glass of hot water, which seems unreasonable. After 10:00 PM, it is also not possible to get plates or cutlery, even if you have brought your own food. The room also had a tendency to smell sour, which negatively affected the experience. On the positive side, the location is good and the breakfast was okay – but definitely nothing special. The filter coffee was lukewarm. Overall, a mediocre experience where expectations were set higher than what was delivered.

Hotel very nicely presented and very conveniently located for exploring Vienna. The room was abit dated and the shower in the bathroom was a tad grimy if looked closely at however this could be because housekeeping was not done everyday as it was to be requested by the guests when desired during their stay which could have result in this level of cleaniness in the bathroom to occur. However could not fault anything else and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice pleasant hotel for their stay in Vienna. Also liked that gluten free bread was available at breakfast

The friendly front desk staff and location of the hotel were both excellent. However, the cleanliness of the room was not. I stayed for two nights, and each night/morning had cold symptoms - runny nose, sneezing, sore throat - that would disappear after leaving the room to explore the city. Only upon packing my items to check out did I find the source of my symptoms - large amounts of mold hidden behind the window curtains on the walls / around the window. It was such a large amount that it had clearly been growing for weeks or months. For the sake of my health I would not stay here again.

Bra läge för vidare äventyr. Nära till Ubahn. Utanför entrén väntar en av Wiens största shoppinggator på en. Rymligt rum med alla nödvändigheter. Rent badrum med stor dusch. Vältalig och hjälpsam personal då jag önskade lämna min väska vid utcheckning för att hämta senare under eftermiddagen. Frukosten innehöll allt man kan förvänta sig. Personalen fyllde ständigt på faten och den juicen var nog min favorit. Det ända negativa med detta hotellet var att jag inte kunde koppla min telefon till tvn och var därför begränsad till tyska tv kanaler.

Moved twin bed together, found plenty of nail cuttings. Request for type of room ignored in booking and at reception. No soap in room, and asking for it to be refilled next day after I used my own supplies, it wasn't. Complained to reception, it took 10 mins to find soap!!! Quite a queue at reception as only one person on, and looking for soap due basic failings. Room really suffers from lack of sound proofing, you hear everybody coming out of lift and walking past, they may as well be in the room.

Great location, only a few steps from the subway station that takes you everywhere in Vienna, very good breakfast, easy check-in/out and a friendly staff. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Intercity Hotel has the perfect location to stay in Vienna!! Lots of shops and restaurants within a very short walk. Public transportation is also extremely close!! The room was exactly what we needed, and was clean and safe. We did have one issue that was not addressed. There was a leak in a ceiling vent. When the leak started, there was a steady stream of water for about a minute. This started on our last day there. We showed staff a video of the water, as it would happen frequently. They said they would have house keeping look at it. But nothing was done prior to our check out. The water woke me up several times during the night. I wish something had been done.
