Small hotel,with dicent full board service which is not often offer in Vienna hotel service. There is free parking in front of hotel and tram station is near of it. The metro station is not to far away if you take a tram to it. Hotel staff wasn't have any undestainding for our need to have late check out!

Clean but dated-Ok

It was very hard to find a hotel in Vienna at the time we booked this hotel. So we took our chances and stayed here despite the low ratings. The staff were very friendly, however, the place is just very old and dated. Chipped paint, old furnishings. Yes, it is old but I felt they could have fixed some minor easy fixes such as a disconnected water hose laying on the front terrace and patio umbrellas blown down but not picked up, dead plants in pots, etc. You can see very little effort goes into any presentation of the facility. The rave reviews about the breakfast confused me a bit. I just didn't think it was very appealing or tasty. The night before we were thinking the breakfast was going to make up for the disappointing condition of the room. It was the usual-rolls, minimal choice of cold cuts, fried eggs, cereals, juice, and coffees Anyway, it sufficed for a night. Had the price not been so expensive and more appropriate, I might have felt a little bit better about staying here.

There were no pool, climbing wall or fitness. We had på pay 11 Euro (for me and my 2 kids) if we wanted to use the poolarea on the opposite of the road. The climbing wall and fitness should we also pay for. The aircondition was not in order, it worked but there came Water down the wall every day. There was only one staffperson WHO was able to speak at Little English. In the room there was at piece of information where it said, that pool, fitness and climbing wall was free. The manager did not care at all. They still uses Pictures and information about facilities that are not there.

Do not worry about English, these guys are helpful

Good hotel, , very clean. First I tried calling for a shuttle from the airport on the phone, they did not understand English. I just took an airport taxi, same cost. Made some round-trip arrangements with the taxi driver, so same driver picked me up in the morning. Friendly staff, helpful too. Dinner was very satisfying. Bed was so comfortable. Water is so tasty here... yup, the tap is rich mineral water is better than most of the bottled water you buy. Breakfast was a good variety with choices from cold cereal, yogurt, meats, and more meats, cheese, eggs. Coffee, and variations for the latte lovers and others.

Hidden Gem in Vienna

The hotel was a real surprise. It is located in a residential/small industrial area right on Erzherzog-Karl-Strasse 105, 1220 Vienna. A very busy road but with both tram and bus stops right outside the Hotel. So getting into the heart of Vienna is a doddle by either walking or a very pleasant public transport trip. The room I was in faced the road but with the widows closed you didn't hear any traffic other than the occasional ambulance (very occasional).

Nice Hotel but well out of the way.

Please don't read this the wrong way but this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a nice breakfast , comfortable bed, tv, aircon, and a private bathroom, but ok our biggest problem was transport to the city as its not really in the city, Trams stop outside the hotel but it takes 3 trams and 60 minutes to get to the center of Veinna, trams are much better than underground. Aircon has no power so it takes all night to cool a room, the tv? Well unless you want to pay for it is in German all 6 channels, Our bathroom had a pillar in front of the toilet which meant to sit on the loo you have to go in sideways and watch your head when you want to get off the loo. A single course meal will cost you a fair sum for two. A coke can? About 4 times the price in England.

Very easy to find. Located on main bus and tram routes. Rooms clean. Was a private function going on in the hotel on the night we stayed so was quite noisy well into the night. Lovely buffet breakfast.

I found a bug in my room on the first night that I think was a carpet beetle. Wifi is not secure. There was mold in the bathroom. No mini fridge as stated in reservation. The hairdryer in the bathroom is pretty old and terrible, bring your own. Carpets in hallways are worn and look dirty. I had half board and it seemed like everyday they were changing the rules on what I was allowed to eat for my second meal. The food was pretty ok, but some consistency would have been better. If you plan on having any late nights, know that the tram to the hotel doesn't run much past midnight. I had to take a taxi from the subway. On the plus side, it is only about 20-25 minutes away from the VIC.

Terrible stay, stear clear (and I'm not difficult)

I'm not normally one to fuss but this hotel was terrible. Key points follow: - Hotel is in a very poor state. Carpets are old and should be replaced. Bathrooms are old fashioned and also need to be updated. The thermostat on the shower was broken, so I had to change rooms for lack of being able to have hot water. The staff was kind to give me another room right away. - Room #2. The room was cold (fair enough they didn't expect it to be occupied that night) so I turned the heaters on. It worked briefly than simply blew cold air (it was a ventilator heater) so I was stuck with 16 degrees in the room (according to the room thermostat). The shower was functional however the shower head holder was broken and there was hardly any hot water (as though it was capped, it would not exceed a certain temperature) - Heaters in the bathrooms (both in room 1 & 2) were not functional. - A lamp was broken. - Of a team of three, only one staff member was nice. The rest was indifferent. - Food was poor. - Surrounding area has little to offer for food (on foot that is).

Nice but too far - parking problem

We went there in december 2015, hotel is ok but it is too far from city center - 5 tram stations + 5 metro stations. Second problem was parking because the hotel dont have their own parking spaces and is ussing public free spaces. Breakfast was excellent, as well as hotel service.

This is the worse hotel I saw in my life I think I got false information from hotel.com representatives I will never recommend hotels.com or this hotel to any one I did not stay in this hotel at all - I checked out October 22nd the first day I checked in

Rather disappointing

The staff were very friendly and helpful but arriving after a long journey looking forward to a nice hotel, I was very disappointed to find a very basic ugly room. The restaurant was also a little unclean and breakfast pretty much finished by the time I arrived (only 8am) I would also warn people to be sure to take the U1 underground service to Kaplan then it's a short tram ride to the hotel (no25) as I took an S train which arrived at a dark station behind a park which wasn't ideal in the evening! It's an industrial neighbourhood so I would say it's only good for a quick one night stay, however saying that the price isn't exactly cheap for a one off stay.

Crummy Dump in Vienna

Advertised "Free Parking" is on the street! Hungarian personnel ignored our arrival at the front desk for several minutes. Carpet in halls very soiled and worn. Advertised "Air Conditioning" not working. Advised by front desk that there was a fire that destroyed AC. Might work tomorrow. Room was 40 degrees Celcius. Finally cooled off enough to sleep at 04:00. Bitten by bugs because window had to be opened for cooling. Breakfast far below Austrian average. Had to wait ten minutes to check out as staff were not present. The only reason I would ever return to this dump would be to help in it's demolition.
