I was in a tiny room that used to be an attic. The floor was covered in dust and there was a random loud buzzing sound that would go off every couple minutes. It has what I need but is not the cleanest, and the bedding was uncomfortable.

It was not possible to close the window in the room (it is winter). The battery in the digital door lock is running low, when I wrote about this to the service provider, I did not receive any response. There is no trash can in the room, one of the bedside lamps did not work, there were no clothes or towel hangers in the bathroom, nor in the room. The bed is very narrow. The environment, house elevator was dirty. The shutter on the window was torn. Hot water barely flowed.

Avoid - Lack of communication

Good: The room was clean and close to main train station. Bad: This is not a hotel, but set of rooms rented over internet. There is no reception. All communication is virtual, and there the big problem is. Messages are all predefined, and they contradict each other. First message says the check in instructions will be sent the day of checkin, then several messages arrive with text "the checkin instructions are now available on the link previously provided" but no link was provided. Confusing. Nobody replies to messages sent either via hotels.com or Whatsapp number mentioned as contact in the first message. Whatsapp number was last active two months ago. Instructions mentions Covid, assuming not being updated it in the past two three years. There's no internet/wifi available. The bathroom reeked of sewage (it was barely possible to breathe there) and it penetrated to the room.

The room was incredibly dirty, we were not provided a key as stated in the check in requirements, the sheets were stained. The hotel was not responsive whatsoever with our concerns and asked us to rate them 5 stars after continually ignoring our messages of concern

Unfortunately the key code on the door would not work as someone had locked the door with the key as well as the code. We contacted the number provided in Wotif and they responded quite quickly, but gave us the code to the master key safe with the keys for every room in the hotel. This was a huge safety concern for us as we would not want anyone else having access to our room. They should just have the keys in individual lock boxes and forget about the key coded door, which also kept saying the battery was low when we were trying the code. The blind on the skylight window is also broken so it’s incredibly bright in the mornings and no way to avoid it. They need to fix the blind as it is impossible to sleep past sunrise. Only benefit was the location which is close to Vienna Hbf, but about 15 minutes by walking then public transport to the city centre.

The main door was difficult to find and then it was difficult to decide which buttons to press to gain access The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. The wi- fi worked well but I couldn't get the TV to work at all. The rules were extensive & restrictive and there was nothing in the room to welcome visitors.

I didn’t receive prior to arriving any check-in details although they didn’t have any reception to welcome guests. Luckily, the cleaning lady was present and she assisted. The place is good to stay for a night, thin walls as well. I wouldn’t recommend to lodge there for more than a night.

I just want to say; if you are looking for somewhere to sleep at night, and you don’t mind the many missing amenities most hotels have, this place will work. However, if you have to spend more time here than just sleeping, traveler beware. The AC only works well when the bathroom door is closed (making the bathroom sweltering hot), the ac makes random buzzing noises when one ( turns out it’s because they don’t clean it, after consulting the internet), you are only provided two towels (period—nothing else) with no where to hang them, the hot water shuts off after showering for two minutes, there was a large hole right above the shower covered with peeling duct tape, the walls are so thin that we heard the person in the room next to us throwing up from around 11-4am, the construction starts right at 6am with no way to block out the noise as, coincidentally, 2 out of the 3 windows were broken with no way of closing them, and anyway, I could go on and on. I cannot in my right mind recommend this place without a warning of what you’re getting. The only benefit to this “modern hotel” is the fact it’s in a pretty good location—it’s right next to both the train and tram stations, and is on a street with many restaurants and businesses. Like I said, traveller beware.

This property was cute and affordable. It had a great location near their subways and lots of stores. Our room happened to have a lot of ants and the shower was clogged when we got there which made the whole place smell terrible. Other than the smell it was a nice place to stay.
