Great location. Room could have been cleaner

When we arrived the check-in process was smooth. However when we arrived to the room it was far from clean. Nightstand had a coffee stain on it and floors were very dusty. Called down to the front desk said they would send someone to clean, so we waited and nobody showed up after 30mins. We were hungry so we stopped by the front desk to ask our way out the door. The receptionist offered us another room instead. Luckily it was just across the hall from our previous room and was much cleaner. Still inconvenient to change rooms/key cards etc. The rest of our stay was enjoyable.

The staff at The Grand Ferdinand were exceptional. Our room was available hours before official check in and the reception staff were amazing. The hotel is in the perfect location for all attractions and the rooftop bar and restaurant was superb.

Absolutely amazing service! Cannot fault the staff or facilities, and it was in such a great location. Staff were so thoughtful and attentive - we received free dessert at the bar and even a treat after we checked out! They really treat their customers well - would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Vienna!

Great location and staff

Excellent location. Excellent warm welcome at check in and very friendly staff overall. Gym is very small and not all equipment worked but still recommend overall for a short stay.

1. They have no lobby, and barely standing room for more than two guests checking in/out, because they also use the little lobby space they have to store bags. 2. The check-in girl seemed quite full of herself (the staff all seemed very young) 3. The seventh floor, where we stayed, is not well lit, with half the floor (including where our room was) being uncarpeted and dark, giving the feeling of being deep inside the bowels of the building. 4. The room was so small that the shower is in the bedroom, and actually opens onto the bed! 5. There is a very popular restaurant on the first floor, but being a hotel resident does not ensure you can get a table. In fact, we couldn’t. 6. Don’t stay on the seventh floor, as it’s below their premier restaurant, and sounds of equipment being moved and people coming, going and having a good time until pretty late all conspire to deny you a good sleep.

The service was very good. The staf was friendly, serviceminded and helpful. The room was somehow disappointing. The arrangement with separate toilet, handwash and shower did not work out for us. There was no place to empty our suitcases and there was no chair. Our mind was split after our stay at the hotel
