The Hotel is wonderfully located. 3-5 blocks from almost every major tourist site. Vienna was hard to navigate for me. I found it confusing. But once I got the hang of it I realized the Hotel was ver well located. It is a 4 star hotel which feels like a 3 star. I’ve been to 2 star hotels which feel better than Das Tigra. The personnel is not very helpful. Or kind. Or aware of its guests. I felt very ignored for a 4 star hotel. Maybe because I was coming from Prague from the most wonderful 4 star hotel, where I was greeted by name and attended to every whim. It’s called Residence Agnes by the way. Das Tigra is clean but feels dated. The bathroom was tiny. Almost like a cruise ship bathroom. Breakfast was just ok for some reason, the servers were maybe a little but more attentive. At least I got half a smile. I did not click with this establishment.

Great two-night stay as a couple on vacation

We had an excellent two-night stay at this hotel. We were able to check in upon arrival at the hotel at 1pm. The room was clean and nicely designed. The front desk was friendly and helpful. We also got free glasses of wine the first night. The room was cleaned again upon return from activities on second day. Close enough for walking to most major attractions. The ONLY complaint I have is the shower/bath design. It’s hard to explain but the shower head placement with only half-glass in the tub made it nearly impossible to shower without water spilling out onto the floor. Just poor design. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. Would stay again.

Wonderful weekend at Das Tigra

Spent two nights in this lovely hotel in Vienna. The staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious and the location of the hotel can't be beat. Short walk to a major shopping district as well as many top tourist destinations.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Super helpful when traveling with a baby, snacks in the lobby, lots of little touches that made our stay perfect. Really great service and a very comfortable room I would highly recommend!

The hotel and staff were fantastic, My only grievance would be that I had emailed weeks before arriving explaining my husband was coeliac and could they accommodate at breakfast. Hôtel advised they could, on the first morning we asked for gluten free bread 30 mins later two rolls were brought to the table warm on the outside and still frozen on the inside. There wasn't any gluten free pastries or biscuits. My husband bought his own bread which he brought to breakfast each morning. There are more are more people with coeliac disease and hotels need to cater for them.

Great location, staff very friendly. Room very warm, no extractor fan in bathroom so after showering got worse as had to open bathroom door. Raised with reception that air conditioning not right - they checked and confirmed set to heat not chilled !! Noticed afterwards other guests have left reviews commenting on room temperatures and being too hot Wound I stay again - probably not
