Birders Paradise but...
Great location. Fabulous views. Fantastic little community of Paix Bouche. We are birders/photographers so the description in the property description of seeing the endemic Sisserou parrots up close and personal sold me. Although according to bird expert Dr. Birdy these are at Syndicate. But we did see up to 10 red-necked Amazon's in the Mango on property!! This was fantastic. The wildlife and Bird Life plants trees scenery was incredible.However the add was inaccurate. The pictures were old as the inside had been rearranged. The add mentioned a/c, BBQ and microwave and they were not to be found. Three fans provided air circulation. The entry to the property was a set of very steep stairs (mentioned) but no handrail. And with the dampness and rain you had to be very careful. The patio was muddy and there were no chairs. It was hard not to track mud inside. The inside had not been cleaned very well. We had to purchase supplies to do our own cleaning. The toilet seat was dirty. The shower was full of soap scum. There were holes in the screens, personal hygiene items left in the bathroom. However...once we spruced the place up ourselves it was quite comfortable. The inside is nice in appearance. The view was stunning. The community full of friendly wonderful people. Everyone greets you.Mers Snakette nearby was great. A wonderful woman. It was hard to find water in the village though.If you are into nature visit the nature island. You will love it.
