The property is in significant need of updating and maintenance, with a number of items either broken or not functioning as they should.Unfortunately, our experience was also negatively affected by a false accusation from the host that someone in our party had damaged a wall in one of the bedrooms. We strongly dispute this allegation and were particularly disappointed to subsequently be accused of lying. We were ultimately charged 100 for the alleged damage, which we do not believe was caused by our party. Given the general condition of the property I would suspect the damage already existed.The beds in most of the bedrooms were very uncomfortable and are in need of replacement. The lack of air conditioning also made the property extremely warm and uncomfortable at night.The kitchen had a significant ant problem, with ants appearing on the worktops, in the dishwasher and in the bin on several occasions during our stay.The property is in a fairly remote location, which is ideal if you're looking for peace and quiet. However, a hire car is essentially necessary if you plan to visit nearby attractions or explore the surrounding area.The swimming pool is a good size, but, like much of the property, it requires some maintenance. There were numerous missing and damaged tiles, including cracked tiles around the pool's edge. The large garden parasol was also broken and appeared to have been poorly repaired.Overall, I would describe the property as adequate but not great.
