What a great place to stay, very clean and large rooms. The staff were very helpful. The only downside is no restaurant for breakfast and limited parking. Really liked this hotel!

Staff was nice and the room was decent but the hotel is located in a sketchy area. I was extremely nervous of my car being broken into as I was warned by multiple staff and there are signs everywhere not to leave valuables in your car. I parked it so I could see it from my room. I didn’t get any sleep as I kept looking outside as I could see numerous people coming off the galloping goose trail looking into my car and one guy O.D. beside my car and threw up everywhere.

The staff were amazing going overboard to help when I had booked wrong found a way for us to stay on a Saturday night. So kind and gracious, I’d return or recommend them to friends. A good place to stay and convenient to everything in Victoria.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. I have ranked it as average as it is what you would expect for the price range (actually its probably pretty good value for Victoria) so maybe somewhere between average and good. My room was noisy as i was outside the laundry but i don't think the hotel in general is that bad. My window was broken, but they fixed it the same day when i pointed this out. So not great but they did respond to the issue. The kitchenette is pretty serviceable for making breakfast and sandwiches. Don't expect full food prep, but pretty good. The bathroom is cramped and I don't understand why they set you up with a crappy shower in a bath, but the bath doesn't have a plug so you can't use it. Again, not great but the shower worked fine. My main complaint was the towels in the bathroom stink of grease or cooking fat. Its like they have been washed in the same washer as a linen from a restaurant. I was here for 6 days, so I had multiple changes of linen and it was always the same. So all in all, you get what you pay for and this hotel is on the cheaper side!

Red lion great experience

Very nice accomodations and amenities. The attached restaurant was very good. Down side was the tight parking situation. A very positive experience.
