If you miss British hotels of the 1970s this is the place for you. Faded grandeur, bizarre dress code rules and a general lack of basic maintenance. The staff are very polite and friendly but I think management isn’t really bothered about updating things. The rooms vary from quite dated and shabby to very nice, so be clear about what you’re booking. I changed from one “superior” room to another and it was considerably nicer.

The hospitality and attention to detail from staff from start to finish exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located right in the center of the city - everything within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic hotel! Welcomed us at reception with a welcome glass of wine. The pianist in the lobby creates a wonderful atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were so appreciated after the long day of Camino. And the best was their breakfast offering. 5 stars all the way!

This is a lovely hotel in a central location. The breakfast is outstanding and the room, though small-ish by American standards, was very nice. The balcony was nice, but unusable in the rain - no roof cover whatsoever. I wish there was a comfortable chair in the room. Just a small upholstered stool for sitting at a little table. Not good for remote working.

Welcome message mishap.

Spa was wonderful! The only downside was the tv welcome message came on twice in the middle of the night in my room and my friend's next door. Obviously this was annoying and woke us both up. The drinks at the bar were excellent but took awhile for the bartender to return. We enjoyed the piano player at breakfast. The beds were very comfortable.

Super high quality hotel

Young woman at check-in was exceptional pleasant and helpful. Hotel recently renovated and is immaculate. Easy free parking at waterside parking lot just 100 metres away. Pianist accompanies excellent breakfast buffet.
