Beautiful house of character at the entrance of the park of an 18th century castle. The house overlooks the French gardens of the park classified as a historical monument. A private car park just in front of the house ensures optimal access. The house has 3 rooms, two bedrooms upstairs, a kitchen and a living room on the ground floor.
The house can accommodate up to 6 people, if the living room is transformed into a third bedroom, after agreement with the owner. The house is located 10 minutes from St Jean d'Angély and 45 minutes from the first beaches.
The access to the swimming pool (June, July and August) and to the billiard room in one wing of the castle makes this residence an ideal place to chill. Relax on a deckchair, take a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool, stroll in the French garden, daydream along the river Boutonne, admire the 13th century tower.... This idyllic place will not leave you indifferent.

Further remark:
Okapi and Osaka, my nice dogs love to be cuddled and know how to be discreet. They're used to children. Either they can walk freely in the domain as usual to please the children or we can take them with us when you come... as you wish.

Absolutely beautiful

Amazing place to stay. The accommodation was so clean with everything we needed. Pool was lovely. Area allowed us to visit a lots of places. Owners were so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

Lovely property in beautiful grounds

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The grounds were beautiful and the pool a great way to relax in the heat. The property is very clean and ideal for as small group. The property has two bedrooms and the sofa in the lounge is a sofa bed which acts as the third bedroom comes if needed. There is a downstairs loo and an upstairs bathroom. We had a lovely stay at the property.

Appréciation de notre séjour d'août 2020 à Vervant

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos 2 semaines passées à Vervant dans une habitation située dans l'enceinte du château. Tout d'abord l'accueil chaleureux de sa propriétaire, ses enfants, sans oublier les petits enfants(le gâteau au chocolat en particulier!) ainsi que l'attention apportée tout au long du séjour(prêt de vélos, informations touristiques...)nous ont beaucoup plu. Puis le cadre bien sûr; petit déjeuner ou prendre l'apéritif avec vue sur ce très beau château et son parc, cela est unique pour une location de vacances! Enfin la location en tant que telle a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes tant par la qualité que la modernité de ses équipements. Merci. Amanda, Jean-Pierre.

Vacances au Chateau

La propriétaire nous a accueilli de façon excellente. Sa petite fille nous avait préparée un délicieux gateau d'accueil. Elle a fait un tour avec nous de tout le parc. Un excellent endroit pour passer des vanances en toute tranquillité. Au moment de notre séjour le WIFI manquait mais c'était en cours d'implémentation. La piscine était un peu plus éloignée mais toujours disponible en concertation avec les propriétaires. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances !

Une semaine calme et reposante « au château »

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. L’accueil de Mme Kern a été très agréable, la maison est propre et très fonctionnelle dans un cadre hors du commun: château, jardin à la française. Une literie très confortable nous a permis un repos complet. La piscine a été très appréciée des petits et des grands. Nous avons déjà envie de revenir l’année prochaine dans ce cadre classé!
