Despite paying premium prices for this so-called luxury resort, I encountered: Filthy room floors covered in grime Broken air conditioning stuck at a sweltering 74°F minimum Rude, unhelpful staff throughout my stay False advertising about amenities that simply don't exist The lobby renovation chaos was just the beginning. My room was hot, muggy, and smelly with no relief possible. The gap between their marketing promises and reality is shocking. Save your money - this place doesn't deserve the luxury label it claims.

Where hospitality truly stands out

I’ve been staying at Fiesta Americana Veracruz for a long time, and every time, they find a way to make the experience even better. It’s not just a hotel—it genuinely feels like home. The staff is amazing across the board. From the front desk to room service to the incredibly kind cleaning team, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are always clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. Special thanks to Jose Catan and Carlos Pastelin, the heads of the concierge team, who always make me feel welcomed and appreciated. They truly go the extra mile every time. I was hesitant to stay at this hotel because of the negative reviews I read online. Many people said the place was old, poorly maintained, and had a bad smell. But honestly, from the moment I walked in, I got a good vibe. The staff were very friendly—from the person who helped with my luggage to the one who checked me in. No complaints there. The room was spacious and clean. It didn’t feel old or have any strange odors. I felt relaxed in my room. Very different from the Holiday Inn I stayed at on my last night—that hotel felt downright creepy.

The hotel is in a good spot on the beach. The Veracruz beaches are not great, but we knew that already. The main reason for my review is that the rooms are VERY noisy, we could hear the music from the bar downstairs until late at night and also the TV from the room next door. I would not stay here again.

Great hotel, will come again

I love this hotel! This is our second time here and they don’t disappoint. My only problem this trip was in the description of the room. It advertises a private hot tub, which implies a tub that has the capability to heat water and maintain temperature. What is actually included is a small bathtub with hydrojets. In our experience, the hotel water was warm at best when we used this tub and the hydrojets were not usable (water went EVERYWHERE). In any case, we still had a great time and enjoyed the amazing views from our balcony.

We enjoyed our stay at Fiesta Americana in Veracruz because the facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. The beach was very clean and well monitored. The hotel in general is very beautiful.
