This was our 3rd stay at this property. It is consistently clean and well organized. We have friends in the area so the location is good for us, and it is also close to the beach. Overall our group of 4 adults were happy with our stay.

South Venice 3 bedroom house

This was our second stay at this property for my group of 4 adults. The property was very clean, well maintained inside and out, comfortable, well stocked, and well managed. The kitchen was organized and had everything we needed. We like the location in South Venice because it is close to where friends live, close to a beach, and close to restaurants and shopping. We again enjoyed using the provided bicycles which are in good condition. I would recommend this property and have reserved again for next year.

Great host!

The property owner is very meticulous about keeping her property in great condition and clean for each renter that comes. She’s very responsive to any questions or needs. The property has a quality water system, heating and air conditioning, quality furniture to keep you comfortable. We highly recommend the house. The only thing we didn’t like was that we could hear highway noise when we sat outside. We live on a quiet lake so are sensitive to highway noise.

Clean, spacious and comfort

Excellent home for a family. We had two adults and four children. We fit comfortably and enjoyed the extras like beach toys, beach towels, soap, etc.

South Venice house

The house was very clean and well organized throughout and everything was in good working order. The kitchen was up to date and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. There is an excellent big screen smart TV and plenty of seating in the den. My group of 4 adults were happy with the layout and roomy feel of the house. The primary bedroom and bath is located on one end of the house and the other 2 bedrooms and bath are on the other end. The mattresses were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at night. We also used 2 bicycles stored in the garage to ride through the residential streets to Shamrock Park and Nature Center, where there is a dedicated bike trail along the canal. The property is a located near Manasota Beach, close to many stores and restaurants, and a short drive into downtown Venice. We had friends who live in South Venice so it was an ideal location for us. We would recommend this property to others.

Venice work trip

The home was nice, clean and exactly as described. There is a book inside the home with all the info you will need for your stay. The owners are easy to get in contact with if needed. I was here for work, so I didn't get to experience all that Venice has to offer. I would stay here again.

Perfect for us!

The house was immaculate! It is well equipped with everything you need. Manasota Key Beach is just a few minutes away and is a fabulous beach. The house is on a quiet street and you don’t even hear the busy street at the end of the road. All appliances were clean and in good working order. Plenty of beach towels - and they even provided the gear to hunt for shark teeth! (We found about 2 dozen!) Would definitely recommend this house and we hope to stay here again next year!

HOUSE With FERRY PASS, NO FERRY PASS Delivered as promised

Was allowed early access with owner to leave laptop in closet as we were supposed to pick up ferry pass after prior renters left, to go on ferry to private beach. Didn't want to leave laptop in hot car. She gave us ferry pass that expired the day before. I was assured by owner, back in fall, that the pass would be provided as a guaranteed perk of rental. She knew it was a Deal Breaker for US. We went to ferry and were refused by the Ferry Association. ( the pass expired 12/31/21, it was 1/1/22.) After receiving door code later that afternoon, we went to house and were hit with a heavy chemical smell, immediately opening front and back door to air out. She showed up within minutes yelling about air conditioner breaking, it hadn't even been 5 minutes since we came in. She had wet towels and i volunteered to fold and put away. A Book of rules was on counter, which I read often, so not to break any more rules!! I'm grateful we Love The Area, as the Ferry Pass promise NEVER happened over the five day period. We had changed flights at a cost and expense to go to this property and felt cheated. She wanted to give us 20% refund at first. We now feel We should be Refunded Whole Cost.

Clean home with lots of room. Good amenities for cooking and going to beach. Bikes were available and in good condition. Ferry pass to beach was an additional benefit. All new inside and would stay again . Nice hosts and very accommodating. John
