Room was very, very small. Only about a foot of space around the bed and very limited shelf space. We had to request more soap and toilet paper. The lack of a proper name for the hotel made it very difficult to locate, as various water taxi operators never heard of it, and refused to believe that it did not have a proper name. The room was not cleaned nor the linens changefd for three days,

When I had booked the San Marco, I was excited I had seen online pictures of only the front of the property with canal views. This was misleading and we never saw the front of this building at all during our stay. We could only access the room from a small alley in the back. I wanted to stay out later by myself, but I didn’t dare because once it got dark, I would have been all alone in the alley so I was very disappointed. $200 for one night was excessive for this property. The patio was very very small and looked out to the inside part of the building where there was noise and absolutely no type of view at all. Very run down! Having said that, the staff that I did talk to, she was very helpful in directing me to the Water bus stand so I could buy tickets for the next morning to the airport. She was very nice and gave me directions to restaurants, etc. as well. I would not stay there again.

The property was exceptional for charm. The virtual check-in was slightly disorienting but actually worked out fine. I would use the Sant Angelo dock to and from for water taxis as opposed to the dock near the Rialto bridge. Way calmer and the same number of small bridges (2) to navigate. Great coffee machine with a second option in the lobby with cookies. Very nice amenity. Only small knock is the size of the shower. Pretty small for a 6’5” guy like me. Would definitely stay there again

Without a doubt, i really love this place. Perfect location. We came in early, thinking we are just gonna drop our luggages in the property and walk around, but they allowed us to checked in and got into our room right away. View is awesome. For me this is 11/10. It may not be perfect to somebody, but to me and my wife. It's a must place to stay again when in Venezia!

Ok rooms, very outdated but decent. Friendly staff, walkable to water taxi stop, and to main piazza , my only complains about this place are that as soon as I entered room, AC was leaking water next to bed, reported it immediately to employee and said that someone should come soon to look at it and fix it…nobody ever came in! We slept all night with the water leak next to us in bed and putting towels on the floor to hold water, it was a lot! I left the next morning and did self check out since nobody was working at that time, so I never heard back from them. I would definitely look for better lodging option next time, do not recommend this place

The room was spacious and felt like we had traveled back in time to previous centuries, just like Venice, but with some modern conveniences like air conditioning!! Which worked great!!!!!

This place was a really cute place to stay. The location was perfect. Walkable to all major sights. They asked for info pre check in which seemed confusing, but it was a very smooth process and easy to find as they had detailed instructions. staff were always happy to help with questions. VERY clean! Everything you need. My only gripe was one side of the double bed was not comfortable, you can feel the springs in it, but maybe if you get a different room you will not have this issue.

Place was good until I sent my kid to take a shower after a long day. Well, not because he didn't want to but because of no heated water. I little frustration, after a long and busy day not able to take a proper shower. We asked the front desk and the answer was was, "yeah!!! I'm sorry ma'am we had problems with the water heater during the afternoon, I reset it, it's not working the manager was contacted, ma'am" Well, no notice or warning was given to us upon arrival, I think this is not nice. No resolution of options given.
