The reception staff was not particularly welcoming, and the reception area itself appeared quite dirty, which immediately affected the first impression. There also seemed to be very few staff available during our stay, possibly because there was a team-building event ongoing at the hotel. The food experience was also disappointing. The menu choices were limited, and overall the food felt very basic for a resort of this standard. There is definitely room for improvement in both quality and variety. Housekeeping and guest support were quite poor. We informed reception, but there was little urgency or follow-up to check whether we were okay. The birthday experience was also mishandled. My friend had organized a surprise cake and birthday song for me, but the staff unfortunately ruined the surprise by repeatedly coming to our table, twice, asking who the birthday girl was. They then brought the cake and singing while I was still eating and seemed unable to wait until we had finished dinner. To make matters worse, they came while my friend was
