Great budget hotel

We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road.

Straightforward overnight stay

Easy to find and to check in. Usual Ibis quality. There is a nice restaurant next to the hotel with a 10% discount for guests. Would stay again.

Reasonable for the price.

The worst thing, as always at this type of hotel, is that the smoking area for staff and guests is directly outside the main entrance so one has to walk through a cloud of smoke with the little ones to get in or out of the hotel. Move smoking areas across the car park please!
