Pros: Great location. Cons: Having to use an app to check-in and unlock your room door can be annoying, especially when it keeps logging out, and not being able to communicate with a human feels really impersonal. 4pm check-in is a bit ridiculous, especially for people arriving to town in the morning, although this seems fairly standard in Canada.

The room was excellent. It was large and spacious with comfortable bed. There was a small but well appointed kitchen. The bathroom was a good size with two towel racks, something most hotels seem to forget. The area was quite with only a small amount of traffic noise from Denman st, when out on the rooftop patio. plenty of restuarant and cafes nearby. It was a short walk to the waterfront and stanley park. I saw plenty of buses on Denman st, so public transport into downtown Vancouver wouldn't be an issue. For the price we paid, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Canada.

Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent facilities. Large comfortable bed. Looked out onto a quiet courtyard area. Very handy location to shops and transport and the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We had a junior suite. It was a good size. Functional kitchen. Balcony was dirty. No blow dryer or lotion in the bathroom. Elevator does not go to the parking lot level, so you have to carry your suitcase up one flight of stairs. Good location. Had issues with the parking lot communication.

We loved this property so much! The room was beautiful, and the area couldn’t be beat! Just a short walk to English Bay Beach and some amazing restaurants. We would happily stay here again!

Shower leaks everywhere, the entire bathroom floor was soaked after every shower. The pictures for our room also showed an electric stovetop which was not in our unit. Customer service from Sonder is not helpful, they just drag you along until you give up. WOULD NOT BOOK WITH SONDER AGAIN!

Couldn’t get in building when I called they couldn’t find my information it caused a lot of stress. Once we got to room the bed was so uncomfortable we went to a different hotel. Found the whole experience disappointing. Would like some of our money returned as we didn’t stay

Great place

Great location near lots of restaurants, shops, and the park. Hotel was quiet and checkin was easy. You do have to pay to park, which is about $20 a day.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a patio with greenery. Awesome when you are in a big city. Room amenities with refrigerator, stove meant we didn’t have to eat out all the time. Whole Foods and a Safeway minutes away. Only difficulty was the initial surprise there is no front desk. Everything is done through the app which I didn’t look at before arriving

I've stayed at Sonder properties before and value their consistency in quality and amenities. This property had easy check-in, clear instructions, great location next to Stanley Park. The only suggestion for improvement is to offer access to a gym and/or pool.

Located at a very fun area of the city. Close to small restaurants and in walking distance from English Bay. The hotel is well kept and modern. Howvever, the room was not very clean.

Sonder was clean, comfortable, and contemporary. Good location!! Very walkable to many restaurants, English Bay, and close to Stanley Park. Kitchenette and table/chairs was helpful for us with grocery nearby for our longer stay. Parking is adjacent, but is NOT included and rather pricey per day. There is no front desk. We had an issue entering on our first day as we were given the wrong code, which lead to quite a bit of frustration. Later we learned that there is someone on property to assist. She was helpful during the stay.
